The basic rules of Roulette are simple. Bets are placed on these numbersby putting chips on the appropriate areas. A wheel having a corresponding set ofnumbers is spun. The bet wins if the number resulting from the spin matches thenumbers you bet upon. The odds vary depending upon the specific type bet. American wheels have an additional green section marked 00. When Atlantic City rules are used in Roulette: For any even-money bets,if the ball lands on 0 or 00, half of the amount of any even-money bet isreturned to you. If you play black-red, odd/evenor high-low, you must place the table minimum for each & every bet. All players placetheir bets. The dealer spins a small ball in the opposite direction of thespinning wheel. When the ball comes to rest in one of the slots, the dealer willcall out the winning number and settle all bets. Players make bets by placingchips in various locations on the table. Straight-Up Bets - Pay 35 to 1. Place a chip on any single number. SplitBets - Pay 17 to 1. Place a chip in between any two adjacent numbers. Quad (Corner)Bets - Pay 8 to 1. Place a chip between any four number groupings, and you getall four numbers in that group. Double Street (SixNumber) Bets - Pay 5 to 1. Place a chip in between streets that are side byside to get all six numbers in the double streets. Dozen Bets: 1st 12, 2nd 12, 3rd 12 - Pay 2 to 1.
