Roulette Game
In 1842, fellow Frenchmen Françoisand Louis Blanc added the "0" to the roulette wheel in order toincrease house odds. In the early 1800s, roulette was brought into the U.S.where, to further increase house odds, a second zero, "00", wasintroduced. Some call roulette the "King of Casino Games", probably becauseit was associated with the glamour of the casinos in Monte Carlo. The American roulette is divided in to 38 slots, numbered 1 through 36, plus 0 and00. Roulette is a French word meaning"small wheel".
