Oneof the thing you should know is how the table minimum works. If you play black-red, odd/evenor high-low, you must place the table minimum for each & every bet. The dealer spins a small ball in the opposite direction of thespinning wheel. After all bets are placed, the croupierspins the wheel in one direction and tosses the small ball in the oppositedirection. The ball comes to rest on one number – the winning number for thespin. There are a number of series in roulette that have special names attached tothem. Straight-Up Bets - Pay 35 to 1. Place a chip on any single number. SplitBets - Pay 17 to 1. Place a chip in between any two adjacent numbers. Street (Trio or Three Number) Bets - Pay 11 to 1.Place a chip on the horizontal line across the top of the layout on any of thetwelve columns of three numbers. Double Street (SixNumber) Bets - Pay 5 to 1. Place a chip in between streets that are side byside to get all six numbers in the double streets.
