When Atlantic City rules are used in Roulette: For any even-money bets,if the ball lands on 0 or 00, half of the amount of any even-money bet isreturned to you. If Nevada rules are in force, you lose the entire even-moneybet on 0 or 00. Roulette is a banking game: all bets are placed against the house. If you play black-red, odd/evenor high-low, you must place the table minimum for each & every bet. The dealer spins a small ball in the opposite direction of thespinning wheel. When the ball comes to rest in one of the slots, the dealer willcall out the winning number and settle all bets. Straight-Up Bets - Pay 35 to 1. Place a chip on any single number. SplitBets - Pay 17 to 1. Place a chip in between any two adjacent numbers. Quint Bet - Pays 6 to 1. The only possiblefive number grouping in the Roulette layout is 0-00-1-2-3. Double Street (SixNumber) Bets - Pay 5 to 1. Place a chip in between streets that are side byside to get all six numbers in the double streets. Column Bets- Pay 2 to 1. Place a chip in a box at the end of one of three columns.
