A croupier turns a round roulette wheel which has 37 or38 separately numbered pockets in which a ball must land. The basic rules of Roulette are simple. Bets are placed on these numbersby putting chips on the appropriate areas. European wheels have only the 0 greensection. American wheels have an additional green section marked 00. Numbers 1-18 are considered the lows; numbers 19-36 are thehighs.
